expanded its programs to address a wide range of social needs that plague our communities.

efforts into our work to ensure that the services we offer meet the needs of our participants and satisfies our goal of "Upbuilding
People, Developing Communities, and Establishing Relationships". Our organization is designed to assist the disadvantaged
and forgotten ones in our community. By nurturing their needs, we give them the encouragement they need to take responsibility
for their welfare and that of their family, which enables them to take advantage of the great possibilities that each
day brings. We provide them with hope for the future, brotherly love, motivation, build their self esteem and level
of pride, and stimulate their mind and spirit to achieve the best that is within them.

families, and individuals who have been victimized. Our motto of "Social Wellness Through Positive Thoughts and
Practices" describes the overall theme of our programs and projects the attitude that we display with our clients to assist
them in coping and dealing with transitions in their life. Our goal is to help the individual realize their self
importance and self worth and to understand that by changing and improving themselves, they are also changing and improving
their family, their community, their race, and society as a whole. By addressing the social needs of our clients through
a well configured wrap-around program, we allow them to hone in on and nurture their spiritual, intellectual, mental
and emotional qualities; thus promoting total health and increasing their quality of life.
Vision and Mission Statement
Our vision is to see that every at-risk child entered into our program no longer feels alone or hopeless, and is given
the opportunity to advance their lives in an environment designed to help them thrive. By providing them with guidance,
training, discipline, and essential tools that they can use as a foundation to build their own platform, our participants
leave the program as responsible adults who will be viable assets to their family and community. Our vision is to see
that those who can be helped and want to be helped are given the assistance that they need to better themselves and form their
lives around their "true self".
For those who have been victimized, our vision extends a helping hand to ensure that their self esteem is rebuilt, that
doors are opened for them to get the necessary financial and educational assistance that they need to move forward, and to
give them a selection of vocational studies and hands-on training to become employable and self sufficient.
Our mission is to make our program available to all eligible Californians in need of our help, and to successfully guide
them toward establishing more productive lives that will enrich them physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually,
and economically. In doing so, we will better our society one individual at a time, one family at a time, and improve their
overall quality of life.

Community Self Determination Institute Charter School (2015)
Charter School is geared toward youth ages 13-18 who are referred to our program as a means
of rehabilitation and re-entry into society through the process of completing their sentence and/or probation term with the
County of Los Angeles Probation Department, Department of Juvenile Justice, Juvenile Dependency and Delinquency Court, Detention
Centers, or Youth Correctional Facilities. Under extringent supervision and a regimented educational plan, the youths

or as a conclusion to it, residents are required to embrace a rehabilitation process that will not only change their behavior
and mental outlook on life, but will instill in them critical reasoning skills, will challenge their intellectual and physical
